WTD and BTI Systems signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for strategic partnership in Wuhan, and founded strategic development partnership. BTI Systems, with the head office at Ottawa, Canada, is a global advanced supplier of Intelligent Service Edge systems for the delivery of high-bandwidth, multi-protocol services, and provides high-bandwidth, cost-optimized, and scalable telecommunications networks equipments and services to more than 100 global customers. The cooperation between BTI and WTD has been significantly expanding since August 2008. WTD provides active optical solutions for BTI’s global market.

"The cooperation between WTD and BTI Systems will enable BTI to continue to offer cost-effective solutions and provide us with a reliable supply chain,” said Gregory Koss, Chairman and CEO of BTI Systems, in the MOU signing ceremony. “It will also have a significant impact on our penetration of the Asian market.”

“WTD R&D roadmap matches BTI product planning. Two parties have extensive cooperation prospects and will build win-win and complementary cooperation mode in the future,” said Guangwen Hu, General Manager of WTD, in the MOU signing ceremony. “The cooperation will speed up WTD marching into the global market, and will push the optimization and expansion for WTD product lines.”
