From Compact Small Form-Factor Pluggable Multi-Source Agreement (CSFP MSA), confirming that through many-sided authentications for over four months, the accession application from Wuhan Telecommunication Device Co., Ltd. (WTD) had been accepted, hence WTD had formally become one of the only five CSFP MSA Union members in the globe.

 

The purpose of CSFP/CSFF is to develop still more advanced and compact CSFP/CSFF packages on the basis of the currently popular SFP/SFF ones.  By adopting double- and four-channel design, CSFP/CSFF adopts the present SFP/SFF interface, while reducing its contour dimension to half and one quarter of the present industrial standard.  In addition, it is possible to flexibly assign the number of channels through different combinations.  In connection with highly integrated photoelectronic loop and high-density packaging technology and on the basis of all SFP/SFF technological superiorities, CSFP/CSFF reduces in large margins the contour dimensions of its optical transceiver modules and optical system equipment, thus remarkably increasing the density of the communication ports and data throughput and lowering the system cost, having huge market values.
